PAYMENT OPTIONS AT STRATHMORE DENTAL SURGERY
We accept all credit cards [Visa, Mastercard, American Express] as well as EFTPOS, cash and cheque payments.
A part payment plan can also be arranged in certain cases. Please enquire with our staff.
Private Health Insurers:
Strathmore Dental Surgery is not affiliated with any particular health insurer, but we are equipped with HICAPS which allows for quick, on the spot claiming from all private health insurers.
Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule [CDBS]:
Dental treatment under the CBDS is available to children between the ages of 2-17.
The CDBS is means-tested and allows eligible children to access a broad range of basic dental services. Eligible patients have a total benefit entitlement capped at $1000.00 over a 2 calendar year period. Strathmore Dental Surgery is able to bulk bill eligible patients through MEDICARE.
Certain dental services such as cosmetic or orthodontic treatments, services done under anaesthesia in a hospital are not covered by the CDBS.

Department of Veteran Affairs:
We are honoured to treat patients who hold a Repatriation Health Card [gold card], under the Veteran Affairs Dental Scheme. This scheme allows for a wide range of dental services to be provided with no out of pocket expenses for eligible patients.
Victorian Emergency Dental Scheme and Victorian General Dental Scheme:
We treat patients under both these schemes, once approval has been granted by the local community dental health services offices. Please follow the link for more information regarding these schemes.
